Building a Real AI Lab at Home

The Home AI Lab is where ideas become working systems. Every project on this site is tested on real hardware, using real software, with the goal of solving practical problems instead of creating demonstrations that only work in perfect conditions.

This lab began with a simple question:

Can ordinary computers be turned into a personal AI infrastructure that anyone can build and understand?

That question started a journey through hardware upgrades, networking, Linux servers, Windows workstations, local AI models, automation, and remote access. Along the way there were failures, rebuilds, hardware problems, software conflicts, and countless hours of experimentation. Every challenge became another lesson that now helps guide future projects.
